Journey to japan: osaka
For my first Visual Communications course, we were assigned to create a travel guide on a destination of our choosing. I decided to focus on Osaka, Japan. I have always wanted to visit Japan, and thought Osaka was the perfect location the feature for my travel guide.

Throughout the project, I used Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to design and create a visually appealing travel guide. This was my first experience using Adobe programs, and I learned a lot about graphic design and layout techniques. Creating this travel guide was a challenging experience that pushed me to explore my creativity and develop my design skills. I was able to experiment with different layouts, typography, and images to create a compelling guide that would inspire readers to explore the city of Osaka.

Through this project, I also gained valuable knowledge on the importance of effective communication and storytelling in design. I learned how to use design to convey information and engage with readers in a meaningful way. I also was able to receive feedback on my design and hear constructive criticism from my teacher and classmates.

Overall, this project was a great learning experience that helped me to develop my skills in graphic design and layout. It was also a great opportunity to explore a destination that I was passionate about and create a piece that could inspire others to travel and explore the world.
