During my Fundamentals of Strategic Communications and Public Relations course, I collaborated with Muthoni Musangali to create a comprehensive PR Campaign for Webster University's Institute of Clinical Scholarship. Together, we identified key issues that the institute faced and outlined a four-step plan to address them.
I designing a visual presentation of the PR campaign and creating a booklet that provided detailed information on the four-step plan. Through this project, I gained valuable experience in PR and had the opportunity to work closely with a client to understand their needs and help them overcome their challenges.
The project taught me important skills such as research, strategic planning, and effective communication. I was able to apply these skills in designing a successful PR campaign that met the needs of the Institute. I also learned the importance of collaboration and teamwork, as working with Muthoni allowed us to leverage each other's strengths and produce a better outcome.
Overall, this project was a valuable learning experience that provided me with real-world PR experience and allowed me to apply the skills and knowledge gained in the course to a practical scenario. It helped me to develop my communication and problem-solving skills, and I am proud of the outcome of our collaboration with Webster University's Institute of Clinical Scholarship.
